1. Terms of Engagement
By accessing this website and engaging with our bookkeeping services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Bookkeeping deliverables are provided as month-to-month flat-rate engagements. Either party may terminate the engagement with a 30-day written notice. Fees are invoiced monthly in advance and are due upon receipt. Late payments may result in suspension of services.
2. Bookkeeping Scope & Deliverables
Hashbooks performs daily or weekly transactional categorization, bank reconciliation, and monthly financial statement compilation. Our services do not constitute auditing or certified public accountant (CPA) tax filings. Final tax filings, audit representations, and general accounting compliance remain the sole responsibility of the client's CPA or tax accountant of record.
3. Accuracy, Auditing & Client Responsibilities
Reconciliations are performed based on banking read-only feeds and client-provided source document statements. While we guarantee a 99.9% transactional categorization accuracy rate, final compliance reviews remain the responsibility of the business owners. The client is responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely records, receipts, and bank statement access. Hashbooks is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or missing information provided by the client.
4. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and keep all financial records, business operations data, and personal information strictly confidential. We do not disclose any confidential information to third parties except as authorized by you or as required by law.
5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Hashbooks for the specific services in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hashbooks from any third-party claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your breach of these terms.
